The online holiday booking rate showed a conspicuous rising in 2007 in Germany. The German Online Travel Agencies Federation (VIR) published by the ITB Berlin Fair, that the online holiday booking rate has raised about 5% to the year before. Therewith 24% of German travellers booked their holiday online. 45% of the travellers used the internet for researches to find holiday resorts.
